I write mostly fantasy stories. My current passion is my dragon cat series.

Starring my own two cats, Midna and Link.

 

          I was sitting here one day, and Link jumped from the top of the steps to halfway across the room, and the entire place shook. He dashed across the room, up onto the couch, did a turn around, and sped back upstairs to jump down again. This time, he landed as light as a feather. I remember thinking it reminded me of Anne McCaffrey's P.E.R.N. books. Where dragons could control gravity. I originally thought it was their weight, but Mercedes Lackey corrected me in an interview, saying they controlled gravity rather than their weight. Considering that she and Anne were friends and discussed these things. I figure she knew more than I. LOL

 

          So, with that in mind, my brain began ticking over. I put together several pieces of disparate information I had heard over the years, and things began to click into place, and so began my stories of dragons who, to save their species, became domestic cats.

 

          Not to give away any major plots here, but you can find out how in my book Where Have All the Dragons Gone? - The Beginning of The End.

          After I finished that, I had already come up with the next story. Where Have All the Dragons Gone? - A New Beginning.

 

          I am currently working on book three of the series. Where Have All the Dragons Gone? - A New Chapter.

 

          When I finish that one, hopefully in the next few months. There is at least one more in the book series. Also, there will be other books in the series, each about the individual lives of the dragons through the years they lived as cats, and the special humans they partnered with, or, in some cases, were alone and feral.

 

          So please keep an eye out here for those updates on when they will be released.

 

 

 

Other stories and such that I write...

 

          I have an open offer to anyone and everyone who wishes to join in. To take a single word from a list I provide every couple of months. Then take that word and create a flash fiction story from it. In any genre they choose. The story must be between 300 and 500 words to qualify as flash fiction.  At the end of the two-month period, I compile all the submissions posted to my Facebook page into an anthology. And then publish on Amazon. We are about to publish our 5th Anthology!

          Another type of writing I participate in is contributing to short story anthologies with other authors from time to time. I have been lucky enough to be included in two such books, both of which are available on Amazon.

          There is one more book that I recently published, which I was hesitant to say I wrote and published. But, honestly, I've come to the conclusion that no one is only one thing. And not all things, despite what the Constitution of the United States of America says, that all men are created equal.'

 

          We are all different; we all have our own things we do. Also, look for my book on Wicca Protection Spells. I have never been ashamed to say I believe that we need Mother Earth, or that our forebears had things wrong. To me, religion and faith are two entirely different things.

          Faith is the belief in things not seen. While religion is man-made, it is used by man to control others and get rich.

          That is my thought. So I offer the Wicca book at printing costs only. If it intrigues you, there is information in there on protections, blessings, and communing with nature and Mother Earth. I do not do spells, or black magic, nor curses. I only offer what I have learned and believe will help heal us and the Earth that nurtures us.
